The band is forced to quickly adjust to the loss of both Mickey and Pigpen, but they are more than up to the challenge!

at this point in their career, the band was beggin' for a piano/ keyboard player who could jam...Keith was perfect, he had an excellent ear for what the Dead were trying to accomplish and he rocked...they were now ready to set sail into '72...
